So today it's more pictures....

My girls at the doctor's office before Kimball's 2nd dose of Gardasil. TMI? Well - we also took a picture on the sly of a look-alike. Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced boo-kay).

Like I said - it was on the sly. Here's a image from the internet of the actual gal:

It was very strange that this real-life look alike didn't have a British accent.

Well, we're getting ready for reunion - should be great fun! Kimball is preping for the trek. Life is going well. More later....

Thought I'd put a picture or two on....just for variety. The week is going well - found the school supplies in the shed (packed) and got some out. Left the box easily accessible. Anyway....

How did that shot get in here? It looks like an episode of Golden Girls! Seriously, I have some good access to pictures at times, and I take advantage of it. This is too good not to post!

You can see her third back on the left - this is what her hair looks like normally now - very stacked A-line cut. NO BRUSHING REQUIRED!~

Our friends from Nampa - such a happy family! We're waiting to hear when they'll be going to the temple to be sealed as a family!

Radar?!? Did you know we had a connection to this guy? Not really Radar - but definately a look-alike! Gene!

Probably haven't heard that Cory is on a fitness regiment. She was doing a bit of cross-training when they last visited. Oh yes - the afore mentioned child was Griffin!

And we'll end with this strapping young man - Giles Knapp. This is a picture of his when he was part of the troops who fought the Spanish-American War. Haven't heard about this war? Netflix has a great DVD that I watched a couple of times about this: Crucible of Empire: The Spanish-American War

Very Educational! I truly had no idea.....

Also fascinating! You'll learn where the "knots" used as an expression of speed on the water came from! And how clockworks were an integral part of looking for lines of longitude.

Well, that's about it for now. I forgot my Netflix password to get movies that aren't rated - as these both are. While it helps with what's offered on the streaming movies - it makes it tough to get gems like the above. Here's to hoping I can recall it!

So it's looking like a weekly post is what it's to. Had a nice weekend. Got lots done and got lots of rest too - that can happen with a long weekend. I'm putting together a family tree (think big) for DJ's family reunion coming up next weekend (not this coming one). I got smart and got a leaf punch that I've used SO much! A tri-fold posterboard and pretty paper and it's coming together. This is the thing, though - We'll assemble it at the reunion! Everyone can put their name on a leaf and put it on the pre-drawn tree where they fit in. I think we'll do silver leaves (tin-foil) for those who have passed on. It's going to be gorgeous! I've got repositionable adhesive. Now I just need to pick up a couple of white pens (for the dark leaves). I did green leaves originally - thinking leaves are green. Then I thought - some people might like autumn colors - so I got some reds and oranges and browns. Just when I thought I was only digital! There was no way I was cutting out a million (so it seems) leaves by hand! I'll put a pic on here after it's assembled - so in a couple of weeks. The reunion spot even has internet access so I'm hoping to capitalize on that and anyone who isn't able to come can request a leaf put on in their behalf. As long as they tell me which branch it goes on - we'll be good!

Enough about that....I am also researching DJ's line before the reunion to get it as up to date as possible. Amanda is going to let me borrow Lappy (her netbook) for the occasion - so I just have to get all my data on a thumb (memory card).

I haven't looked at everyone's blogs in way too long. I hope you are all well. Life is just keeping me too busy to do what I was doing before. Onward and upward, right?!?

The girls are enjoying the local summer reading program, the little pool in grandma's backyard and summer in general. I was joking with them today as we saw a house about to be moved. "Hey - that's what we could do with our house - move it to grandma's backyard!" They all thought that sounded great - especially that we would be able to keep the kitties.

So the 3 younger girls have swim lessons starting in a couple of weeks. They were all hesitant about it. Once we got grandma's pool up they are getting really exciting and aren't too worried anymore. Silly.....

That about does it! Oh, one more funny - I pointed out to Grandma Sue that the last 3 times she's called on someone for the prayer it's been Hinckley. Didn't want her showing any favoritism.... She responded - Oh! Well, I usually call on whoever is talking! Made me chuckle because it's so true. So hard to get that girl quiet at prayer time.
