Yes, I do check your blog, Sharon. I check just about everyone's - a couple of times a week. The only exceptions being those I can't subscribe to feeds on through Google. So here's my picture:I have a large purse that is mostly empty at the moment because I like to carry magazines and books around to read. Current items: Book from book fair last night (for Kimball), Teacher reports on both of the girls, immunization records (never know when you'll need them - used to be in the diaper bag but since we don't have one anymore....), keys carabined on, RS directory, Lotion, Recipts, Bandaids, 2 tubes of lip gloss and 1 pot of carmex, hand sanitizer, a quarter, my checkbook (yellow - easy to find in the bag), cell phone, way to many pencils and pens, and a paintbrush (?!?). I was just thinking about getting a smaller bag - but I waffle back and forth on that question too much. I just love my little girls purses that I picked out in their colors:
My favorite has to be Hinckley's dark green purse that looks black in this picture. Really cute! Anyway - that's all for now....more tomorrow!

I'm doing this post on the 27th actually, because the 28th will probably be very busy - parent teacher conferences, a picnic, a new windshield, etc. Thanks for the link, Becky. I haven't explore it yet - but hope to soon. So much to learn! Had to post the new layouts.

Wow! If you made it through all those I'm impressed! I had so much fun using templates and getting things done quickly. I think they turned out well despite the speed. They are in no particular order here - I'm still working on the order in the book.

Good Morning! I was up early getting the trash out - Recycling too...And working on getting the backyard cleaned up a bit so we can get spring plans underway. I sat down at the computer, looked over my list for my albums and am a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I'll be productive, but might have to re-think my ambitious plans for getting it all done now. We do have a trip planned to the DUP to get stories and pictures. So excited about that - it's going to be my next album once I get the current ones done. I guess it's a good think that I have a few weeks to finish. Don't despair - I did do one layout and learned a couple of new tricks in the process - here it is:

I'm so pleased that I learned how to add drop shadows in Photoshop Elements today! Yea for me! Used a template from somewhere...designer name Tanja. And a favorite kit of mine - Against Lovesickness. So cute! Anyway - had to put something on for you to see. Should have more fun pages in the days to come. Just having a list is progress!

OH! Before I forget - found a great site for sketches (not templates but the drawings that you can make templates from). www.pagemaps.com Check it out- she has all her maps archived!

So today I still have a few things to do - but I really want to spend time on the layouts today. Make it a great day!

Thanks for the comments, everyone! I would love to have help in decorating - if we ever finish the remodel! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's tour movies......

Yep - DJ does his own ironing! Not that I haven't ever ironed for him. He just doesn't mind doing it - and there is always plenty of other things for me to do. So, I got him his own little ironing board and made him an ironing center.

Now it's Sunday and I'm still working on this post. A little girl turned off my computer yesterday so I didn't get this post on.....

Another great Sunday in Spanish Branch. I learned a couple of words - but I don't know how to spell them so I won't even try. You'll just have to trust me. Also DJ and I are planning on reading the whole Book of Mormon in Spanish - so hopefully that will help me too.

Despite my efforts to get the video on - Youtube thwarted me. Not sure why - I'll try again another day. Just finished coloring (on the computer) the file folders. Now to print and cut out! I might just print and call it good :)

Love the new flavor of shake powder (supplement) that I have - Citrus! Just like an orange julius. Not much else to say - just so tired and still catching up on little projects. I think I need a few days of just rest.

I had seen the movie Oklahoma - and my movie reflected your definition, Sharon. But the actual word being associated with that event was not in my memory. Anway - it's interesting. So this morning I am getting things more organized - papers, etc. I need to open the Paf file - and enter some data. I've got some email to attend to and file folders to make - so I'll be busy for a while. I really am missing the daily layout - but I just haven't had time!

I'll see what I can do in the way of a video tour of the house - that would be a good thing!

Saw in the paper someone pled guilty to keeping a disorderly house. Part of a bigger story - but got me thinking....What an interesting charge!

So - I better get to my day. Hope yours is great! Maybe a video later today?!?

So last night I had a dream that DJ and I were just getting married. His side of the family had a shivaree - see link above. I didn't know before last night what a shivaree was - at least I don't think I knew. So now I'm having vocabulary lessons in my sleep. The crazy part is I remembered the word.....

Had to mention it.

A quick post this morning....I've begun moving computer stuff to the new room. Here's a peek:

SO, hopefully I'll get that done today. DJ was up so late last night working on the laminate. He even drilled holes for all my cords this morning. What a hero! I've got activity days tonight so I'll have to take it easy this afternoon. Jared is coming over to help me finish hooking the electrical up to the breaker box. Then we'll be fully functional. (Insert evil laugh - Buuuuha, etc).

I waited too long to blog today. I'm tired again! Anyway - have to mention - I'm going to attend spanish branch meetings now - Sunday School and Relief Society for now. Maybe more once I get some Spanish down. I've given up trying to evade the will of the Lord in learning Spanish. Still nervous about it - but excited and feeling a sense of moving on as well.

Today was good - lots of friends and fun. I did manage to get some cleaning done - more to do tomorrow. DJ should finish with the desk tonight then I get to reassemble everything tomorrow.

It's addictive! Aaron - you're going to love it!

So today I painted in preparation for the new desk. The support walls are all ready and waiting. Tonight the framework of the desk gets put up then laminate tomorrow. Very excited. My house is such a mess! From the sanding of the texture, there is a ton of dust. Plus, it's laundry day. And the everyday mess. Did I mention I ran out of my Energy Revitalization System? So I am really dragging. I ordered more but don't know when it will come in. We won't have another lapse like this anytime soon. It's amazing the difference that stuff makes for me!

However, the desk had to get done - the scrapbook ladies are coming on Thursday and I just don't think I could host them in my bedroom! Anyway....

So we're making progress. Slow and steady. I have to get my bed made so I can climb in and rest. Hope your day is going great!

Jared came and got the kids - new baby is here! So very exciting. We'll go over a bit later and try and get a picture of the little girl.

Disaster averted! A couple of days ago I discovered that my entire my documents folder was gone. My BIL had backed it up - and in the back up there was nothing. So.....I had a bit of a panic attack. But I didn't want to be too upset until I knew the full scope of damage. As it was a PAF file I was most concerned about - I didn't feel bad about running the recover program today - and we successfully recovered the file!!! I am sooooo relieved. I lost a bunch of my documents - old primary files, current things, etc. But, it's not as bad as it could have been! That PAf represents years of my life - so that would be the most devastating. Lesson learned - back things up!

So today I'm a bit tired - got visiting teaching this afternoon. Should be a nice day. Have a great day too!

Valentines Day! Ok - sorry I hadn't given more info. I forget what I've said and not said sometimes - OK most of the time. I'll get a pix for you....

You can see the new wall at the far end of the room - a support just to the right of the cabinet and at the front of the picture you see another support. It will be a u shaped desk with the two computers in either bend of the u. The girls desk will be lower than mine. You can also see 2 cubbies in the wall at my end (top of the pix). The back sheetrock isn't on yet - it will provide a back for the cubbies. Don't know if this makes sense.....I hope it's done soon!

Well - we're off to the school for the Kindergarten valentines party...Have a great day!

If I never hear the sound of an air compressor again - it will be too soon! It scared me several times last night - first because I didn't know it was running. Then again, and again just because it's so loud! Then DJ was using some tool that uses bullets to shoot nails into concrete to attach things to the concrete. BULLETS! It was loud too. The framing is done - and I'm almost done with the electrical. I get to use a tool to drill today - provided DJ left it home because he didn't drill one hole I need drilled to run the electrical wire through. So things are going well I suppose. Not sure if I'll get to the scrapbooking today - but progress will be made somewhere!

I'm back. The computer is in limbo as DJ is making me a new desk - but I can get online and do what I need to. Didn't get much done today except setting the computer up. It's going to be short - I've got some running to do yet. Have a good day and I'll get more layouts on soon!

Yesterday I had to clean house. It had gotten a bit out of hand - so it was time. Today I need to sort through a couple more bins of stuff that's in my computer room - and in the way.

I was going to post the layouts I just finished today. It's a 2 pager. Just too much personal information to put on the internet in general - so family can see it on the family site:) So fun to see these notes we wrote each other again. I have 3 more in mind - hopefully to do today so that I'm feeling productive again.

So another busy day without a layout - I'll have to get busy on Saturday and catch up - or do some in advance! I did do the girls Valentines - so I'll show you those today:
These are for local exchanges - we're not mailing any to cousins - although we will probably email them :) Just for fun. I thought they turned out really good - 2.5 X 3.5 size. Pulled together in a couple of hours - and each of them had all the creative imput they desired.

Well - I'm almost done planning for our activity days tonight. Should be really fun - just have to print up a scripture list for our Getting to the Temple game. Basically they have a choice to roll the dice or use the scripture list and their moms to get to the "temple" hidden in the church. Moms will know where temple is at. I like to reinforce going to parents for help every chance I get. Should be really interesting. I also made an overlay using tracing paper (it's what I had on hand) with a photoshopped image of the temple printed on it in black. Looks pretty neat - What do you thinK?
So they will be able to put their picture behind it and decorate a frame with I love to see the Temple - I'm going there someday. Remembered the idea from a YW book from way back in the day.....Anyway. So I have been busy - just not doing the layouts. I really miss the daily satisfaction of having a layout done.

I pre-ordered the new Stacy Julian book - so excited to see that! I think that's about everything. Have a great day!

It's going to be a short post - just tired today. I didn't get a page done for today - but I did do a game for McKay's class party (Valentines). Made Bingo cards. Also went Grocery Shopping - the big shop and we're getting ready for a birthday dinner - basanya (that's how she says it) (lasagna).

Hopefully I'll make up for my lack of a page today with 2 tomorrow. I did spend some time yesterday finding little keepsakes from our courtship - they're going to look great on a page!

Today is one of those special days for me - I remember it every year. Nothing too crazy or anything. This is the day - 14 years ago when "my" missionary went into the MTC. I probably remember it better because it is Groundhog day! Love that movie!

We're TIVOing the funeral - to watch tomorrow. So, I won't be talking about that today. I've begun the new album! I'll have to finish the other album bit by bit....but this month is the new one :) I'm excited to be using other kits and colors - I'm not keeping track of where I got what so I won't be listing the credits....:) Another nice thing about not doing a daily challenge! And Reg - the album has a magnetic closure under the fabric so it's not visible :)

Anxious to see the new pages? Yes - I said pages - I did 2 pages this morning! Here they are....
There will be a page somewhere - with either a preface or a flashback to a few chance meetings we had before I began the new journal.

Don't get crazy starting to exercise, Ola. We've got enough crazies in the family - just enjoy the calm pace of life. It will speed up before you know it and you'll wish it was calm again!

So today - I don't have a layout for you because I've been wrestling my computer all morning. We're getting an additional computer from my bro-in-law (he's upgrading). So we can hardly wait to have one just for the kids....

I do have a picture of the album I bought yesterday to use to put the Greatest Love Story ever told in. Here it is:

It is a really dark black - you can't see that as well in the photo. It just felt like the right book for the album. I'm excited to get started. At present I don't dare shut down my computer for fear it won't come back on. Alas......
