Thanks for the tips! Keep them coming if you think of anything else :)

So we got home really late for a school night. I was so tired I didn't think I'd need my regular night meds - that was a mistake. Spent much of the night awake and am so tired today. :( Anyway - the car is fixed :) That saying - too blessed to be stressed really seems to be fitting. So today I'm working on scrapbooks - and I have a lesson coming. Need to get invitations for my recital printed...all good stuff. Hopefully I'll get some more boxes soon and get more packed. I've decided since my girls love to snuggle at night and end up sleeping in just over one bed - I'm going to send a couple of mattresses to storage. No point in keeping them to just sit around.

It's rainy here today - not sure if I'll get much outside work done because of that. Really looking forward to trash day tomorrow so I can have empty trash cans again to fill :)

Other than that - not much going on. Maybe some grocery shopping - we'll see if it happens today or not.

Well, my day has turned out a lot different than I thought it would. After a trip to the store - and getting some much needed items, I was headed home and then thought about DJ at work and asked the girls if they'd like to go see him. So we turned around and went to see him. Got a full tour of the place :) Then it was time to go. I went to start the car and it wouldn't start! So very blessed to be where we were when this happened (and not enroute during spring break - or anytime after DJ left!). DJ went and got his dad - they quickly diagnosed a fuel pump problem. So DJ pounded on the gas tank (really) and had me try the car again - and it started. So I drove to my in-laws (just up the road) and have been here all afternoon. My FIL has a shop with a lift and everything - so now we're just waiting for DJ and him to get here and fix the fuel pump. So - long story short - no packing, cleaning, or anything of the sort today. I took a nap! It's been too long since I've done that ;) - Not to leave any details out - the pump was delivered to DJ at work (on his Dad's account - such a blessing, gives us extra time to pay for it :)). Truly blessings are all around - you just have to reognize them for what they are.

Well - I'm also interested in any facebook advice you have. As a newbie, I really know nothing other than I could spend way more time than I have on it. Limiting that.....But what else should I know?

So I got on Facebook today. Such fun! Not sure what else to say about that. Thanks to those of you who have already friended me :) I feel so friendly! It's been a good weekend here - we got the fence stained and worked on the yard. More to do - but I think we've decided to wait on putting the house on the market - just too much for me to get it ready and kept up. Takes the pressure off a bit. Not sure how long DJ will be here - maybe another week? We'll see....

I got my Spring Break Book done. Remembered my quick scrapbooking program and really went to town! Now I need to finish the remodel book...and maybe one other then I'll be ready to order some more books. :)

I'm afraid I just have nothing left to say....my mind is blank. Hope your Sunday was a good one!

Home again, Home again, Jiggety, Jig!

We are once again at home - although the house didn't smell like home when we got here. Maybe I'm getting ready to move or something. We had a great trip home yesterday - with rain showers here and there. Didn't slow us down at all! I'm using today to rest up here at home. Maybe tomorrow too! It's a good thing :)

We so enjoyed visiting all the family we could. Thanks for taking time for us! So excited to see Aaron & Kari's anticipated arrival - whenever he comes. My group had a great time playing with cousins. Hinckley thought we should just stay at GG & Bruno's. :) She didn't want to leave....
The girls were so excited to see their dad last night, though! He's off driving again today. Up through yesterday he had 39 hours of work this week. Crazy!!

I got the pricing for the new insurance for the new job - talk about sticker shock! And it's going up before we are eligible (90 days). We'll see what we see....so much to take care of with the move and all...

So today I'm on hulu and also making some scrapbook pages of our trip. Making a book - actually 3 copies of the book - so our friends can have a couple too :) It was really a good experience.

Well - I need to get a couple of cords to get going. Later!

Good Afternoon! I've run my errands and am now laying in my bed on my heating pad. Must remember to pack it! Now all I have to do is to get everything into the car and we'll be set to go. So very excited! Yesterday as I was dropping off little A, he was asking about another girl in the branch - D. I realized that since DJ wasn't going we would have an extra spot! So, we invited her, and her parents said yes! Very excited for her. She is a friend of Kimball's - so they are going to have lots of fun together. The only thing I was embarrased about was that I hadn't thought of it myself!

So, my posting may be spotty over the break - but know that we're having a wonderful time. Can't wait to see some of you!

I've been taking it easier today - really! I've taken a nap and watched the latest - Lie to me episode. Just getting geared up for piano lessons. Got my invoices for next month printed out - and although I would love to be done with lessons - it will help me to keep doing the regular schedule stuff. Otherwise - I might never get out of bed ;)

This week has really caught up with me - I'm hurting everywhere it seems. Took some ibues - hopefully that will help the inflamation - and maybe the pain. I'm really more of a tylenol gal - but the swelling is to a point that I have to take the other stuff. Agh! I just remembered I need to pack today! Don't want to forget anything essential.

Well - that's about all that's going on here. McKay has a 1st grade program today that I'm taking the kids to - so she was nervous and excited about it this morning. I'm trying to talk myself out of taking pictures of each of the kids and doing a book for the teacher - but I might lose that argument. I just need to keep it simple - no personalized messages or anything. Maybe I can leave a space on the page for the kids to write a message (after the book comes?). Those of you who know me know that I tend to blow projects up way past the resonable point. Yep - that's me!

So....that's what's up with us. Take it easy - more tomorrow before I leave for Spring Break!

I did try to post last night - not sure what happened. The post didn't happen. Anyway - I cleaned paint off of windows yesterday. This morning I was patching concrete - and didn't think the trowel worked as good as my hand. Silly! I'm going to take time and make a list or two today so that I feel like I know what needs to be done. Hopefully that will help.

I'm still working on the adventure book. Should be lots of fun! I hope to do some exterior paint today - not sure what else....Have a great day!

I think that's today's date. It's almost over anyway...kind of an emotional evening in a way tonight. We went in and packed up DJ's office things. Last time at his old job (12 years with some of the same people)....and his new job kept him busy today. I think he'll be glad to be driving when he gets the painting, etc done.

It was such a warm day - even though it rained. Crazy warm rain ;)

I did some scrapbooking for a book I'm going to order - Halloween theme...I worked on it while Mr. Painter was here...here's some pics:
The pages are part of a exchange kit I did at godigitalscrapbooking. Such fun! I am working on a remodel book now....thinking about it mostly ;) Well - it's getting later and later. More tomorrow!

Nice Sunday! That site is www.sugardoodle.net Great resource! We're sitting around enjoying the day - DJ tried to pull me into looking at insurance stuff - but I have resisted (mostly) - it's chasing the spirit away ;)

I'll do the insurance stuff tomorrow. Mr. Painter should be here tomorrow - finishing up :) That will be great. Too bad DJ doesn't have the stairs patch done - we'll have to paint that ourselves.

Getting geared up for a busy week before spring break begins. Going to be fun!

Hey there - sorry to be MIA yesterday. I have been resting more - today a lot in fact. I'm working on watching some Lost - still trying to get it to load on the laptop ;0 Not sure why its not working. Alas!

DJ has our new bathroom vanity put in - as we do each of these things it makes me wonder why we didn't do it sooner. Becky - I do appreciate this opportunity to declutter. It's just such an overwhelming time all in all. I am enjoying living with less stuff right now...

I really need to put on some pics - soon I hope :) I got to thinking about the family history project last year and felt really grateful that I was given the time and space to do that while still in this house - before our life got crazy. I don't think I'd be doing it if I hadn't last year. Interesting the way things like this work.

Well - it's scripture power time and I need to get going. More tomorrow, I hope :)

So - to update everything - I got the porch trim painted. Looks good...now just some touch up on the exterior to do. Waiting for the paint guys to come back. DJ still has much to do - he will be in town for the next week or so at least - doing some work locally. :) Hopefully that will give him the time he needs.

The agent came last night and we had a good chat - he brought the comps and we talked about listing price. He'll be back in 2 weeks (or sooner) to continue the process of listing it. It's good having time to complete what still needs done. I am ready to be doing something other than getting it ready to sell.

I'm in bed - on my heating pad, watching CBS Thursday - I enjoy all of the shows :) To talk about something else - my current favorites are The Mentalist, Eleventh Hour, Lie to Me, and CSI. The things you find when you don't have a million channels to choose from. :)

I've been debating whether to get caught up and into Lost or not - any opinions out there? It looks like I'll have some time on my hands and I really haven't watched any of it so I don't know....

Well, Survivor is almost over and I'll want to watch more - so I better get this done. Have a great evening - more later!

So today has been busy - preping the front porch for trim paint - scraping off old, loose flecks, etc. So it's ready - I just have to get out there and do it! Also - I cleaned the bake center today and it looks really nice. The real estate agent comes again tonight - so it will be a busy afternoon here.

My mind is just reeling - I guess I better get back to work. More update later....

Good wishes totally count - as long as they're expressed ;) Thank you! I'm still in bed at 11:40 - on the laptop....I really need to get up because I have a lesson coming at noon! It has been a good morning - DJ got the carpet ordered - it will be here later in the month....guess we should have ordered earlier.....also took the drug test. He's getting ready to drive again. What fun! I dreamt last night that I was becoming a truck driver - driving through tornadoes. Crazy stuff!

I'm not sure what I'll be doing today - we'll see, I guess. Something for sure - even if it's just getting the air conditioner brought down to the stack to go with DJ next week. We'll see ;) I keep telling myself that these things are going to help the house sell - look better, etc. So hopefully that's a truism.

Well - five minutes have gone by - and I really need to freshen up. Hope your day is great!

Check out yesterday's updated list to see how the progress is going....really good day! I notice that on my list are several things that I'm waiting for DJ to do - sheetrock, etc. Can't paint until it's done.

Sorry to be so one-track. Just the focus of life here right now. I so enjoy reading what you are all up to - it makes for a nice distraction. So tomorrow we're going to get some more carpet - and DJ has a couple more hoops to jump through - drug testing :) and a physical. Who knew? Also, he's going to practice driving a bit more before he takes his driving test. Not sure what I'll be doing - probably some cleaning - maybe inside windows? About this time I am thinking - why did we get a house with so many windows? I enjoy the light, though.

So, I woke up with a headache - but also thinking about my game. I think I'll make a full version after DJ leaves - if you want more details, email me :) I haven't heard from Deseret Book - so I am not counting on them making it for me. It's really going to be fun. Plus - it goes with any other game. Maybe Christmas gifts for all? No crazy plans.....

So glad it's Sunday! I'm ready for a day of rest. I've had the craziest dreams this last week....
I remembered the time change - got my bedroom clock changed - now I just have to fix the other clocks in the house.

Not sure how much time I'll have to post this week. Here's the list of work to do:
Strip paint from window in my room - Done
Paint bathroom (including floor) - Done (except floor)
Paint back room floor - Done
Install new vanity in bathroom - half done :)
Touch up paint on porch - have paint...just need time
Clean up yard
Plant flowers in garden beds and weed
Paint Hall - Done
Finish Sheetrock in stairs
Paint the rest of stairs
Take off storm windows - Done
Clean all windows - including back ones that have speckles of paint from last exterior paint job - Did a couple then I got cold - so I have all the materials I need at hand...to finish
Touch up exterior paint - have paint
Finish up chimney chase sheetrock & Paint
Patch floor threshold into stairwell
Carpet the stairs
Restain fence
Put trim around bathroom mirror
Finish pantry cabinet - end panel and back
Repaint mailbox
Finish emptying basement - odds and ends
Organize paint cans to be left - begun
Sheetrock in my closet
Finish baseboard in hall

I think that's about it. All I can think of for now....nothing I want to think about really :) Have a great Sabbath - we'll be taking it easy here.

Happy Saturday! So much to do - as always - siempre! Progress is good, though! I'm getting ready to go to a baby shower today. Should be really nice :) So glad for my SIL L - she's waited a long time for a girl ;)

DJ is going to practice driving a bit more today. I'll be installing a light fixture in my bedroom, touching up the yellow paint, and cleaning some windows. Thinking fondly of you all enjoying your Saturday! Have a great day!

It may be late - but I'm getting a blog in for today :) Such a long day - kids all off of school today. Painter A came and did some fabulous work! I took a picture of after my painting - and I'll have to get one of his after (as he redid some of mine). He's coming back on Monday for more painting fun.

Jared was over and helped DJ load the cabinets, couch, freezer, etc. that went to his house. Also helped load up the wood that we sold. The gal came and brought 3 kids to help too - and it went really well. It's looking so great!

So we're tired - but happy. Plenty left to do next week. I'll put pics on soon. Have a great weekend!

Kimball is home again today - puky last night :( McKay is off to school, though.

I got the back ceiling and trim painted - also some in the bathroom. Painter A is coming today (I hope) to help with some tricky spots. It's coming along!

I hope my mind comes back soon - I really get about this far and can't think of anything else to say! Have a great day all!

Kimball is home sick :( McKay says her principle says to come even if your sick - the nurses can take care of you - so she's at school. We all have colds :(

Thanks everyone! That really gave me a boost reading your notes. :) Today I get to empty out the back room so we can paint the floor. The desk and cabinet stay - everything else goes. Crazy fun I suppose. ;)

The curtains are down and sunshine is streaming into the back - so happy! It is a lovely bright room. I can't really think of anything else to share today....sorry!

Sorry to miss yesterday :) I've been busy cleaning (sweeping) the basement. Also wiped off the shelves. Busy, Busy! I posted something on Craigslist for the first time yesterday - and 3 email replies so far today! Hooray!

So DJ is working today - but has most of the rest of the week off. He'll be driving truck (training) on Thursday. Hope it all goes well! It seems like there's always so much to do - I did sit down and rest a bit today, though.

I'm envying all of you that have nothing to do....yeah, I know you have plenty to do. Still....give me a shout out on here today, please! I need a bit of encouragement!
